Clubs & Orgs
Shere Recreation Ground plays host to a number of different sports clubs, organisations and events with each having their own management team or officials. A representative from each of the clubs come together several times a year under the Charity’s banner of the Shere Recreation Ground Association. Together, they decide how best to manage the ground, pavilion and facilities.
Tennis
A thriving tennis club with excellent courts which welcomes players of all ages and abilities. Coaching available through the website.
Football
A local club with multiple teams from year 5 to Veterans. 3 teams use the Rec as their home ground – with others based in nearby Albury.
Cricket

HKM Dogs
With over 20+ years of combined experience, HKM have utililised the bowling green and now provide agility, training, obedience and grooming for all things canine!
The Plug
Offering everything from personal fitness to relaxation, the Plug combines recreational activities with a fun and focussed attitude towards healthy living and wellness.
BHF Event
An annual event, the BHF London to Brighton Off Road Bike Ride hosts thousands of riders taking part in Europe’s largest charity mountain bike ride.
